OnChip PCI Device
OnChip IDE Channel0/1 The integrated peripheral controller contains
an IDE interface with support for two IDE
channels. Choose the default value Ena-
bled to activate each channel separately.
Primary/Secondary Ma- The four fields allow you to set a PIO
ster/Slave PIO (Programmed Input/Output) mode for each
of the four IDE devices that the onboard IDE
interface supports. Modes 0~4 provide
increased performance. In Auto mode, BIOS
automatically determines the best mode for
each IDE device.
Primary/Secondary Ma- Ultra DMA implementation is possible only
ster/Slave UDMA if your IDE device supports it and your
operating environment contains a DMA
driver. If both your hard drive and software
support Ultra DMA, select Auto (default) to
enable BIOS support.
VIA OnChip PCI Device
Press <Enter> to enter the sub-menu. A sub-menu screen similar to the
following will appear.
