 Enhancements: DDE - A number of enhancements were made to the Fortis DDE

(Dynamic Data Exchange) API that facilitate customer integration with the Fortis

application and directly control the Fortis user interface. Updated documentation of

the new DDE commands is included in the updated Fortis Programmers Reference

guide distributed with the service pack . A basic summary of the enhancements are as

follows:

 Query Preferences – Resolved a data validation issue. It allowed entry of nonsensical

values (negative numbers or alpha characters) into query preferences such as: Limit

Search Time and Limit Number of Documents Returned. (9758)

 Fortis: Pick lists – Resolved a memory access violation that could occur if a user

attempted to access an extremely large pick list. The modification limits the maximum

number of values in a newly created Fortis pick list to 32,000 rows. If a customer has

existing pick lists larger than 32,000 rows, Fortis only displays the first 32,000 rows.
