Release 2.4.1 Service Pack 1 (12/2008)
Fortis 2.4.1 Service Pack 1 includes quality improvements and new features that
enhance reliability, security and performance. It is recommended that all customers
upgrade to Fortis 2.4.1 Service Pack 1 to take advantage of these improvements.
NOTE: Customers must upgrade to Fortis 2.4.1 before applying this service pack

Fortis Web: Deadlocks – Resolved an issue that caused the IIS process or application
pool to deadlock on the Fortis Web server. This resulted in Fortis Web failing to
respond to requests or displayed an empty screen in the web browser. (9846)
Fortis Web: PDF Viewing – Resolved an issue when viewing very large PDF files in
Fortis Web. It crashed Internet Explorer and displayed the error: Microsoft Visual C++
Runtime Library ‘Runtime Error! Program C:\Program Files\Internet
Explorer\iexplore.exe abnormal program termination’ (9784)
Fortis Web: LDAP – Resolved an issue that prevented users from manually logging into
Fortis Web, with a Fortis username and password, in the event LDAP authentication
failed. (9811)
Fortis Web: Launch – Resolved an issue with a user trying to launch a versioned
document that is not checked out via Fortis Web. The user received the error message:
"This feature is only available in the complete version of Fortis Web ActiveX". Fortis
Web now disables the Launch button, if the user has not checked out the document.

MAG File Validation – Added a new feature that significantly reduces the risk of Fortis
document file corruption. This new feature is configurable and performs validation on
Fortis documents that are copied or moved using the Fortis features: In Baskets –
Copy & Forward, Import, Import Data and Documents, Inflo, Fortis Web, etc. (9649)
AutoCAD: eDrawings 2009 – Updated the Fortis AutoCAD integration with eDrawings
