5. Apply some thermal paste on the CPU

for better heat dispersion before plac-

ing the cooler set onto it.

6. Mount the cooler set (fan & heatsink

bundled) on top of the CPU and fit it

into the retention mechanism.

8. Connect the fan power cable from the

mounted fan to the 3-pin fan power con-

nector on the mainboard.

7. Secure the metal hooks back to the

retention mechanism.

4. Release the metal hooks on the reten-

tion mechanism.
